THOMAS DOIG AND DARREN MACKIE SELECTED FOR SCOTLAND CYP SIDE

On Sunday 1 May 2011, Clubs for Young People Scotland (in conjunction with Clubs for Young People Fife) organised a day of international football at Bayview Stadium in Methil featuring three Scotland v Wales matches at U14s, U16s and U18s levels.

The Scotland Under 14 side, which triumphed 1-0, included Thomas Doig and Darren Mackie of Ferry Athletic in the starting eleven. Both boys were adjudged to have done really well with one observer commenting that ‘big Thomas was a tower of strength at the back’.

In the team photograph below, Thomas is standing in the back row, fourth from the left, and Darren is next to Thomas, fifth from the left.
